Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the United States. she is currently president and controlling shareholder of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, her five sisters and brothers, as well as their father who was the owner of the Lakers and controlled them until his passing away in 2013, received the ownership via the trust.
